Border guards at Chopin Airport did not let in Poland 15 travelers. The reasons were different. Two people who used false documents have the most serious trouble.
Officers from the Warsaw-Okęcie Border Guard institution issued 15 decisions on the weekend to refuse to enter Poland to foreigners who did not meet the statutory conditions of entry and stay in our country.
A spokeswoman for the Commander of the Vistula Border Guard Department Major Dagmara Bielec said that to the citizens of Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Bolivia, Azerbaijan, Colombia, Congo, Venezuela and Dominican Republic, the entry was refused to enter for various reasons, including no documents entitling to stay, undocumented purpose of the visit or the residence period used.
Two people with counterfeit documents
Among the detainees were two men who tried to cross the border based on forged documents. The Dominicanian citizen used a fake Swedish residence card, while a citizen of Georgia – a false statement about the intention to perform work.
– They both heard allegations of attempted to cross the state border contrary to the regulations using a trick and a counterfeit on the model of the original document. Currently, they are waiting for a return to the country they came from – Bielec pointed out.
Other foreigners who were refused entry in most cases returned to the countries from which they traveled.
From the beginning of this year, officers of the Vistula Border Guard Department at the air border crossings refused to enter Poland nearly 530 foreigners.
