The guests of the “#BezKitu Campaign” talked about the upcoming parliamentary elections and their control. Klaudia Jachira (Greens, KO) pointed out that the European Parliament had submitted a request for observation to the OSCE. – I am very sorry that again the European Union, again someone has to fight for us to keep the legal norms in Poland – she said. The leader of AgroUnion, Michał Kołodziejczak, assessed that “the Poles themselves should organize themselves so well today to oversee these elections.”

Member of the Greens Klaudia Jachira (Civic Coalition club) and AgroUnion leader Michał Kołodziejczak spoke in the program “Kampania #BezKitu” on TVN24 about the autumn parliamentary elections.

Jachira: again, the EU must fight for the preservation of legal norms in Poland

Jachira said, among other things, that it was on the initiative of the Greens European parliament submitted an application to OSCE for full-scale election observation in Poland. – This is an observation like in countries where democracy is threatened or where authoritarianism is simply present – she said.

– On the one hand, I am very sorry that again European Union, again someone has to fight for us to keep the norms of law in Poland, to respect the constitution and European values. On the other hand, I am very grateful to our Green friends for not leaving us alone, for once again ensuring that elections in Poland are fair, she added.

“They will do anything to stay in power”

Kołodziejczak, asked whether he thought such an observation was necessary, replied that “the Poles themselves should organize themselves so well today to oversee these elections.”

– It can be done to observe the choices well and control each move properly. And this is what is needed in Poland today. I don’t trust either of them,” he said. He explained that “he talks mainly about the people who are in power today.” “They will do anything to stay in power,” he said.

TVN24 guests were also asked questions by representatives of youth organizations and young activists: Alicja Ciesielska (impuls.press, Impuls Foundation), Krystian Wodzielak (New Generation), Marek Pękacki (Forum Młodych Ludowców) and Paulina Filipowicz (activist, psychologist).

One of them, addressed to Jachira, concerned invitations from the Third Way – Poland 2050 and PSL – for a joint conversation for PiS, Confederation, Civic Coalition and the Left. – Every time (…) from Poland 2050 there is such a strong, unforeseen announcement, I am honestly more and more sorry – said the MP.

She mentioned that in the meeting room she was sitting next to deputies from this formation and also cooperated with them in committees. – These are hard-working MPs, MPs, this cooperation is based on the opposition. But a few times Mr Simon Hołownia He surprised me and sometimes I don’t understand what he says and how quickly he changes his mind, she said.

– If they strongly declare that they are on the side of the democratic opposition and I see that we are cooperating, then I do not understand such a move – she continued. According to her, “with such people who do not respect human rightswomen’s rights, violate the constitution – I’m talking about the United Right – there is no room for conversation now.”
