3 Tennessee postal workers killed in publish workplace capturing, authorities say

The FBI was investigating a capturing at a Tennessee publish workplace Tuesday the place three workers had been killed, authorities stated.

The capturing occurred on the Orange Mound publish workplace, and the Memphis Police Division was aiding with securing the perimeter, the police pressure tweeted. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the legislation enforcement arm of the Postal Service, advised Fox Information the capturing occurred on the facility known as the East Lamar Provider Annex.

“We’re working collectively with the Memphis Police Division, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms,” the company stated. 

Fox affiliate WHBQ-TV reported the suspected shooter labored on the publish workplace, citing sources. The police division stated there have been no lively threats and the realm was secured. 

Fox Information has reached out to the FBI and native police.

In a press release, the Postal Service stated it was “saddened on the occasions that came about at present in Memphis.”

“Our ideas are with the members of the family, pals and coworkers of the people concerned,” the company stated. “The Postal Service shall be offering sources to all workers on the East Lamar Provider Annex within the coming days and weeks.”
