As part of the Dobry start (300 plus) program, about PLN 925 million went to the accounts of parents and guardians, said the president of the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), professor Gertruda Uścińska. This year, there are new rules for applying for a benefit. This can only be done electronically.
From July 1 this year, applications for the payment of PLN 300 can be submitted. from the Good Start program. In the school year 2021/2022, the application for the 300 plus benefit can only be submitted electronically – via the Electronic Services Platform (PUE) portal of the Social Insurance Institution, electronic banking or the Emp @ tia portal. Money from the program is paid only to the bank account.
Good start (300 plus) – 3 million applications
Since July 1, i.e. from the launch of the call for applications for the Good Start benefit, parents and guardians of learning children have submitted over 3 million applications.
– The interest in the program is huge and the money goes to families. The Good Start program is an investment in the education of Polish children. It is 300 PLN of one-time support for all students starting the school year. Families will receive the benefit regardless of income. The funds are disbursed on an ongoing basis, says professor Uścińska.
Under the program, ZUS pays a benefit in the amount of PLN 300 – once a year – for a child attending school until they turn 20 or 24 in the case of children with disabilities.
The Social Insurance Institution has already transferred approximately PLN 925 million as part of the Good Start program. The number of children on applications accepted by ZUS has exceeded 3.6 million.
– When implementing the Dobry Start program, we also focus on electronics and automation. This allows, among others for relieving ZUS employees and for efficient handling of applications and payment of money – indicates the president of ZUS.
Good start (300 plus) – when will the money be paid out?
Each person who submits an application for a benefit from the program (also via electronic banking or the Emp @ tia portal) will find all information about this application and its handling on the PUE ZUS portal (application service status, detailed information on the benefit).
On the PUE ZUS website, you will also find all correspondence with ZUS regarding the application for the benefit (request to complete the application or attachments, information on granting the benefit or a decision refusing to grant the benefit).
The deadline for submitting the application is the end of November. Those who submit it by the end of August will receive the benefit by 30 September. When the application is submitted in the following months, i.e. in September, October or November, it will have to wait up to two more months for the money.
