The subsidy is granted without the income criterion

The support is granted once a year – for a child who attends school, until the age of 20 or 24 in the case of children with disabilities. – Applications for the new benefit period can be submitted from July 1 to November 30, 2023. Submission of the application by the end of August guarantees payment of the benefit by September 30 – points out prof. Uścińska.

Good start – details

An application for a benefit under the Dobry Start program can only be submitted electronically – via the Electronic Services Platform (PUE) of ZUS, electronic banking or the Emp@tia portal and the mZUS application. At PUE ZUS, a special creator of applications for Good Start benefits will guide the user through the entire process step by step. This way you can avoid mistakes when applying for the benefit. The application – apart from other data – should include: bank account number to which the benefit will be transferred, e-mail address and telephone number – i.e. data that will be needed to contact you regarding the application. Also, notifications regarding 300 plus benefits will be provided in electronic form. Information about the granting of the benefit will be available in the inbox on the PUE ZUS profile. Also when the application was submitted via electronic banking or the Emp@tia portal. PUE ZUS will also contain all correspondence from ZUS regarding the application for a benefit (request to complete the application or attachments, information on granting the benefit, decision refusing to grant the benefit). The benefit will be paid only to a bank account.
