This week, as part of the 500 plus program, family accounts will receive more than PLN 590 million, informed the Social Insurance Institution. ZUS also announced the dates of payment of the benefit.
On June 1 this year, a new Family benefit period began 500 plusthe first one operated exclusively by the Social Insurance Institution.
500 plus – payment terms
– From the very beginning, we efficiently implement the Family 500 plus program and this week we are paying out more funds, so important for many families. It will be PLN 591 million. Last week, it was the amount of nearly PLN 600 million, ZUS President Prof. Gertruda Uścińska told PAP. – This means that the total amount will be about PLN 1.2 billion – said the president The Social Insurance Institution.
Each parent will have a fixed payment date that can be checked at PUE ZUS. The due date will be assigned automatically, randomly and will be valid for the entire period for which the child benefit was granted.
The next payouts are on the 2nd, 4th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th and 22nd of the month. In the event that the payment is made on a holiday, the funds will be transferred the day before.
To check the date of the application on PUE, log in to PUE, select the Family 500+ tab, view the list of submitted applications, select the application and display “details”, and then “withdrawals and returns”.
500 plus – conclusions
The child-raising allowance is granted until 31 May of each year. However, earlier, from January 1, ZUS accepted new applications for 500 plus, and commune or poviat centers continued the payment of benefits granted last year until the end of the period for which they were granted, i.e. until May this year.
The implementation of the program was taken over by the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) gradually in order to guarantee full security of payments. The transitional stage is over and only ZUS awards and pays funds from the program.
The application for the child benefit is electronic. It can be submitted via the Electronic Services Platform (PUE) of ZUS. Parents with a PESEL number may also submit an application to ZUS via the Empatia portal or their bank. The money will only go to bank accounts.
