How do fraudsters work? Offers of fictitious help
The Ministry explained that “sometimes people call or write messages offering fictitious help in completing an application for childcare benefits.”
“The Ministry appeals for caution and prudence. The amount of the parental benefit is increased automatically – there is no need to complete any new application. Payments from the Family 800 plus program are made on the same dates as before, but in a new amount. Parents are informed about this fact electronically,” we read in the announcement.
As it was emphasized, “the information about the alleged compensation of the benefit up to PLN 800 for the previous year is also false. Such compensation is not granted.”
How to submit an application to ZUS?
The Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy reminded that in order to obtain the right to childcare benefits for the next period from June 1 to May 31 of the following calendar year, an application must be submitted to ZUS only via the Internet.
“Through one of three application channels: the PUE ZUS platform or the ZUS mobile application, the Emp@tia information and service portal on the website empatia.mpips.gov.pl, electronic banking. The childcare benefit is transferred in a non-cash form to the bank account indicated in the application ” – noted.
