Police officers from Stargard (West Pomeranian Voivodeship) stopped a driver who, in recidivism conditions, exceeded the speed limit by 80 km/h. On a road with a speed limit of 90 km/h, he drove 170 km/h. The man received a ticket of five thousand złoty and 15 penalty points.
During a routine patrol, Stargard police officers noticed a Volkswagen driver who was driving much faster than he should have, posing a threat to other road users.
“In a place where the speed limit is 90 km/h, he was speeding at 170 km/h. As it turned out, the driver had already been convicted for exceeding the speed limit,” we read in a police statement.

Due to the fact that the driver exceeded the speed limit and did so under conditions of “recidivism”, he received a higher fine of five thousand zlotys and 15 penalty points.
