The powerful Hurricane Milton is approaching Florida. What this element looks like from space can be seen in the recording from the International Space Station, made available by the American agency NASA.
Footage of Hurricane Milton, taken on Wednesday by external cameras on the International Space Station (ISS), shows the powerful storm approaching Florida's Gulf Coast.
Many threats
The average wind speed that accompanied Milton on Wednesday before noon local time was 230 kilometers per hour. This corresponds to a category four hurricane on the five-point Saffir-Simpson scale. The element is expected to reach land on the night from Wednesday to Thursday (it will be Thursday morning in our country).
Evacuation orders are in effect for millions of residents along nearly 500 kilometers of coastline. The hurricane brings life-threatening storm surges, destructive winds and heavy rain.
