The portal also published a recording from one of the bars in Marmari, which shows the missing Polish woman. The surveillance camera, which lasts less than two minutes, shows 27-year-old Anastazja, who enters the premises herself, holds the phone in her hand, looks around the premises, then approaches the counter, reads the menu, checking the phone from time to time.

A group of detectives from Poland and Anastazja’s mother went to the place

The search for a 27-year-old Wrocław woman has been going on for another day. According to the Greek portal protothema.gr, the search involves, among others, police, volunteers and members of the Greek Rescue Team. Tracking dogs and drones are also used. According to journalists, the mother of the missing girl and her partner are also at the scene. Both are to help in the search.

Information about the trip to Greece was sent by the partner of the missing 27-year-old on Facebook. He also appealed for help. “Tomorrow, Anastasia’s mother and a team of detectives will be looking for Anastasia. If anyone wants to help us in her search or knows people who can help us in our search, please contact us. Every hour counts,” he wrote on Saturday, June 17.

As the younger aspirant Rafał Jarząb from the Wrocław police told us on Saturday, on June 13, her partner called the woman’s parents and reported her missing. The parents informed the Wrocław police, who confirmed that Greek officers were conducting search activities.

He points out that the Wrocław policemen are “in constant contact” with their counterparts from Greece and assured them of their readiness to cooperate. – All activities are currently carried out by Greek officers – emphasized Jarząb.

Petros Vasilakis, a spokesman for the Greek police, told us in a telephone conversation that currently – due to the good of the activities carried out – the officers do not talk about their findings.

“The only official position we can give at this time is that the search is ongoing. We make sure that the relatives of the missing Polish woman are informed about the actions taken. The details of the case provided by the Greek media come from unofficial sources and therefore I cannot comment on their content, Vasilakis told us on Saturday.

She was supposed to drink alcohol with men she met, one of them was detained

The Greek media devote a lot of space to the case. They report that Anastasia worked with her partner in one of the Greek hotels. On Monday, unlike him, she had the day off. She was to spend the evening near the beach in Marmari. Around 10.30 p.m., she was supposed to call the man and say that she had been drinking alcohol and that a friend would drive her home on a motorcycle. However, that did not happen.

Anastasia was then supposed to – according to Greek journalists – send her partner her GPS location asking him to pick it up. The man was supposed to go to the indicated place, but he did not find his partner. The 27-year-old also did not answer the phone. According to local media, the 27-year-old’s phone logged on for the last time soon after – a few kilometers from where she was supposed to wait for her partner.

A broken trace

The trail has since disappeared. According to the accounts of witnesses interviewed by Greek journalists, Anastasia bought alcohol in one of the markets in Marmari. She was later to be joined by five men from Bangladesh and Pakistan (their identities had already been established by the police). With one of them – according to the Greek media – Anastasia was to leave on a motorcycle.

The police – according to the Newsbomb portal, on which many other local websites base their reports – detained a 32-year-old resident of Bangladesh in the case. The man claimed that he spent the evening with a Polish woman and then left her at the hotel. According to journalistic reports, the cameras in the indicated place did not record Anastasia. During the search, the officers were to find the 32-year-old a plane ticket to Italy, bought after the disappearance of the Polish woman.
