ANKARA, Turkey — A passenger bus veered off the highway and crashed right into a roadside ditch in central Turkey on Monday, killing 12 folks and injuring 19 others, officers mentioned.

The bus was touring from Sivas — some 240 kilometers (150 miles) east of Yozgat — to Istanbul.
Ozkan mentioned 11 of the passengers died on the scene of the crash whereas one died later within the hospital.
The injured passengers have been being handled in close by hospitals and considered one of them was in severe situation, he mentioned.
The reason for the crash was underneath investigation, Ozkan mentioned, including that it seemed to be the results of “carelessness” by the driving force.
