TOKYO — A car crashed into a short lived barricade close to the Israeli Embassy in Tokyo on Thursday, and reviews say police arrested the motive force.
The alleged motive and whether or not the embassy was focused will not be recognized. Protestors usually collect in opposition to Israel’s assaults on Gaza, and the road close to the embassy has been barricaded by Japanese police.
Police refused to substantiate the media reviews.
A person in his 50s believed to be a member of a right-wing group was arrested on the scene on suspicion of obstructing official duties, public broadcaster NHK and different media reported.
An ambulance was dispatched to a close-by location when an emergency name reported one individual was injured, the Tokyo Fireplace Division stated. One police officer had a hand harm, the media reviews stated.
Images and video footage confirmed a black compact car crashed right into a guardrail by the sidewalk, with particles scattered on the road. The crash web site is close to an intersection about 100 meters (yards) from the embassy, NHK stated.
