On the A4 motorway between Dębica and Tarnów in Lesser Poland, a truck drove into barriers – due to heavy snowfall, the road conditions were difficult. In turn, in the village of Wandzin, the bus fell off the road. 10 people were injured in this incident.
General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways informed on Friday evening on the A4 on the section between Dębica and Tarnów near Nowe Żukowice, a truck drove into the barriers.
The road was blocked as a result of this incident. The services did not provide information about the injured.
On the other hand, a dangerous event took place in Wandzin in the province of Lublin, where at 2 am a bus fell off the road and 10 people were injured.
The duty officer of the WSKR informed that 37 citizens were traveling by bus Belarus – the wounded were transported to hospitals in Lublin and Lubartów. As a result of the accident, the national road No. 19 on the Lublin – Lubartów section was blocked, GDDKiA announced in a release.
IMGW warns of freezing precipitation
In Mazowieckie on Saturday morning, snowfall will gradually turn into sleet and rain. Temporarily weak precipitation of freezing rain or drizzle causing black ice is possible, the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) informed.
IMGW issued a first-degree warning against freezing precipitation for 12 districts in the province of mazowieckie. These are the following counties: Grodzisk, Grójec, Legionowo, Nowodworski, Piaseczyński, Pruszków, Pułtusk, Warsaw, Western Warsaw, Wołomin, Wyszków and Żyrardów.
