As reported by tvnmeteo.pl weather forecaster Tomasz Wakszyński, the pressure system shaping the weather in Poland is still the extensive Russian high. In our region, there is a hot and dry air mass of tropical origin. In the coming days, the Russian high will weaken.

Saturday will be full of sunshine. Thermometers throughout the country will show from 30 to 32 degrees, with the hottest temperatures in the center and north-west of the country. The wind will be moderate, gusty at times (reaching speeds of up to 40-50 kilometers per hour). It will blow from the southeast.

On Sunday, the weather in most of the country will remain unchanged, but a gradual change in the direction of air masses (especially in the western reaches) to the south-west will be clearly visible. – In the afternoon on Sunday, the development of cumulus clouds is possible in the west of the country, and individual evening clouds are not excluded. storms – added the weather forecaster.

In most of the country in Sunday it will be sunny. But in the south and west a gradual increase in cloudiness to heavy is forecast. In the afternoon in the western extremities there will be periods of rain up to 5-15 liters per square meter, storms are possible. The thermometers will show above 30 degrees Celsius, up to 33 degrees Celsius in the north-west. The wind will be moderate, at times quite strong, gusty (accelerating to 50 km/h), south-easterly.

Wakszyński said that a significant change in the weather will be visible in the west and south of the country on Monday, as a zone of an undulating cold front will approach from the west.

IN Monday cloudiness will be moderate and large with rainfall of up to 10-30 l/m2, gradually covering the western and southern regions of the country. In places, storms may occur, their probability is estimated at 70 percent. The sun will be only on the eastern outskirts. The thermometers will show from 23-25 ​​degrees Celsius in the west to 28-31 degrees Celsius in the rest of the country. A moderate south-easterly wind will blow, at times quite strong, with gusts of up to 50 km/h. The strongest wind will blow during storms, accelerating to 70-80 km/h.

– A very clear change in temperature across Poland is to occur from Tuesday, when the rain front moving east will gradually lose its activity – said the weather forecaster. The phenomena are to be weaker, but thermal conditions in our country will change significantly.

Tuesday it is going to be cloudy with clearings. There will be periods of rainfall of up to 5-10 l/m2, especially in the belt from Pomerania, through the center of the country, to Podkarpacie. Thermometers will show at the warmest moment of the day from 19 degrees Celsius in Silesia to 22 degrees Celsius in Podlasie. The wind will be moderate and quite strong, reaching speeds of up to 50 km/h. In the east it will blow from the south, in other regions – from the west.

Wednesday will be marked by puffy, variable cloudiness, possible light rain showers up to 5 l/m2. The temperature throughout the country will be even, around 21-23 degrees Celsius. The south-westerly wind will be weak and moderate.
