In the latest edition of the “Kadr na kino” program on TVN24, Ewelina Witenberg talked about Martin Scorsese’s film “The Bloody Moon”, which stars Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jesse Plemons and Brendan Fraser.
The film is already showing in Polish cinemas. It tells the story of the persecution of the Osage Indians, and the script is based on a report by investigative journalist David Grann. – I think about Europe in the 1930s and what is happening in the world now, and it worries me very much. We have to show young people this story because it is coming back – explained Scorsese at the film’s premiere in Los Angeles.
The program also talked about the Polish film “Różyczka 2” with Magdalena Boczarska and Janusz Gajos in the main roles. In the film, Boczarska played a double role – she played both mother and daughter. – The make-up itself, under the supervision of master Waldemar Pokromski, lasted six hours – pointed out the actress.
Ewelina Witenberg also noted the end of the career of 90-year-old Michael Caine. – Awarded two Oscars the actor played in 160 films – she recalled.
