The program includes, among others: about the film “Anora”, the winner of the Cannes festival, which has just been released in cinemas. It's a story about an American stripper who married the son of a Russian oligarch. However, instead of basking in luxury, she had to fight for her own dignity. “Anora”, awarded with the Palme d'Or, is one of the favorites in this year's race for Oscar nominations.

“Minghun”, a contemplative drama with Marcin Dorociński in the main role, also hit the big screen. The film shows a Chinese tradition that helps the film's heroes process the mourning after the loss of loved ones.

The program also discusses the international success of Polish artists. The documentary “Pianoforte” was awarded a prestigious Emmy statuette. It is a documentary film that is as suspenseful as a thriller. It focuses on artists competing for victory in the world-famous Chopin Competition.
“Kadra na kino” also talks about the finale of a famous court battle. Marilyn Manson withdrew his lawsuit against his former partner, whom he had previously accused of slander and attempts to discredit him in the eyes of his fans. The case concerned Evan Rachel Wood, known, among others, from the TV series “Westworld”. The actress confessed that Marilyn Manson used psychological and sexual violence against her. The musician who accused her of defamation has now dropped the charges and even agreed to cover over $300,000 in legal costs related to the case. As his lawyers explain, the singer wants to close this chapter in his life. Wood's defenders, however, respond that the accusations against their client were false from the beginning.

Witenberg also shared sad news for Elton John's fans. The singer suspended work on the new album due to health problems. The artist suffered serious complications after an infection in the summer. He has almost lost the sight in one eye, and the ability to see in the other is also limited, which currently prevents him from working.
