They cheated the deposit system: Two men extorted money Finland over three thousand euro. They forged receipts for recycling bottles. They did it in a very professional way, a mistake there were cashiers inevitable – said the court. They exchanged bills for cash at least dozens of times. The court sentenced them to four months of suspended prison and ordered them to pay compensation to the stores.
How was bail fraud committed? Men they printed receipts in the car in the parking lot. At least 33 fake bills were found in the vehicle. The older of the perpetrators, born in 1988, committed fraud even several times a day, changing clothesto minimize the risk of getting caught. However, they attracted suspicion because the receipts were issued for the same amount and they had the same time.
Recycling in Poland from 2025: From October 1 next year will be binding in Poland deposit system. Down prices disposable plastic bottles with a capacity of up to 3 liters and metal cans with a capacity of up to 1 liter will be charged deposit of PLN 50, and for reusable glass bottles up to 1.5 liters it will be PLN 1. The deposit can be collected by returning the empty packaging in any store with an area larger than 200 sq m.
