Polish track and field athletes specializing in 1500 m races had a bittersweet performance. Klaudia Kazimierka broke her personal record and made it to the finals of the games. Weronika Lizakowska had an even better run. She set not only a new “personal record”, but also a Polish record. The problem is that in her group, six athletes were faster. Because of this, we will not see her fighting for medals.
