A hero’s welcome: Spain’s victorious Girls’s World Cup aspect parade trophy by way of Madrid | World Information

Spain started their reign as Girls’s World Cup champions by arriving house to a hero’s welcome on the streets of Madrid.

Followers packed the streets of the Spanish capital on Monday evening because the victorious La Roja paraded by way of with the trophy on an open-top bus.

The gamers later acquired off the bus and took to a stage, the place match winner and captain – who scored the one objective in a narrow 1-0 win over England in Australia on Sunday – was tossed up within the air by teammates.

The aspect had earlier touched down at Barajas worldwide airport, the place star defender Ivana Andres lifted the trophy as she walked off the aircraft from Australia.

It’s the first time Spain has gained the competitors since its inception in 1991.
