The pressure in Poland will increase by as much as 18 hectopascals in the next hours. It's all because of the anticyclone Wincent, which will take over the weather from tomorrow. What weather awaits us next weekend?
After a warm and sunny Thursday, the weather in Poland is not good today. Most of the country is gloomy and rainy, and the temperature has dropped by about 10 degrees Celsius.
Forecasts indicate that the marked cooling will stay with us for longer. Last Thursday could have been one of the last days with temperatures above 20 degrees Celsius.
On Saturday, the weather is expected to improve slightly and there will be more sun in the sky. All thanks to an anticyclone (high pressure) named Wincent. Its arrival will be associated with a huge increase in pressure.
An increase of almost 20 hPa
Tomasz Wasilewski, the weather presenter of tvnmeteo.pl, talked about the change in blood pressure in the program “You get up and know” on TVN24.
– Wincent will cause the pressure to increase by 18 hectopascals from this morning to tomorrow morning. It will be a huge pressure surge – said Wasilewski.
He added that such large fluctuations in blood pressure have an impact on our well-being.
– We usually talk about this bad biome when the pressure drops. However, many people also experience such a sudden increase in blood pressure, the expert emphasized.
Sunny but cold Saturday
The first day of the weekend will begin with frost, which may occur in most parts of the country. The temperature in the morning near the ground may drop to even two or three degrees below zero.
– Later it will be clear and sunny with temperatures up to 12-13 degrees Celsius – emphasized Tomasz Wasilewski.
Sunday with rain
Sunny weather will not stay in Poland for long. On Sunday, another low pressure will come to our country, bringing clouds and rainfall of up to 5-15 l/sq m. The thermometers will show from 10 degrees C in Pomerania, through 13 degrees C in the center of the country, to 17 degrees C in the south.
