A party at the rectory in Drobin ended very badly. A 29-year-old man died, and the autopsy did not answer the question of why this happened. According to unofficial information, there was a large amount of potency drugs in the room where the body was found.
The death of a young man at the rectory in Drobin is becoming increasingly mysterious. An autopsy conducted on Tuesday did not provide a categorical answer to the question of the cause of death.
– We do not have categorical and final results of this autopsy. The expert will only be able to issue an opinion after obtaining full results of tests on the preparations that were secured during the autopsy – said prosecutor Bartosz Maliszewski, spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Płock.
The police learned of the mysterious death at the rectory on the afternoon of September 7.
– At around 6 p.m. we received a report of a man's death on the premises of the rectory in Drobin. Officers were on site within a dozen or so minutes. Unfortunately, the report was confirmed. The doctor who arrived at the scene confirmed the death. The man was a resident of the Łódź province – informed Deputy Commissioner Monika Jakubowska, press officer of the City Police Commander in Płock.
The deceased man was 29 years old. It is known that he was a guest of the vicar of the local parish. According to unofficial information, also from the tvn24.pl portal, in the room where the body was found there was a large amount of potency drugs.
– No traces were found on the body of the deceased person that could indicate a criminal cause of death, nor were any traces of a struggle, search or penetration of the room found in the room – said prosecutor Bartosz Maliszewski.
The vicar had a good reputation among the parishioners.
According to unofficial information, a two-person party lasted several hours in the vicar's apartment on September 7. The vicar had been working in the parish in Drobin for a year and had a good reputation among the parishioners.
– He prepared the child for communion. We didn't complain. He had good contact with children, I won't say anything bad – commented a resident of Drobina.

“The priest was removed from the position of vicar and left the parish,” the diocesan curia in Płock reported. Płock Bishop Szymon Stułkowski appointed a team to clarify the matter. The team's goal is to investigate the facts and circumstances, prepare documentation, and then submit it to the Holy See.
– As of today, we only have the cause of death as acute circulatory and respiratory failure, but the cessation of these two systems always occurs at death – notes prosecutor Bartosz Maliszewski.
