A major water main failure occurred on Monday on Pilotów Street in Kraków. At the construction site of the tram line to Mistrzejowice, a high, branching stream of water gushed from the pipe.
The incident took place on Monday at around 6:40 p.m. The first information about the water supply failure at 51 Pilotów Street was received from one of the residents at Contact 24. This is the area around the Młyńskie roundabout.

As you can see in the video sent to us, a branched column of water gushes to a height of several meters. The construction site is the first to be wet, but also a section of Pilotów Street and cars passing by.
In the place where the failure occurred, a tram line to Mistrzejowice is being built.
We asked the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Krakow about the case. – One fire brigade and one water ambulance were dispatched to the scene. The firefighters' actions currently consist of securing the scene – informed the fire brigade officer on duty.
An emergency water service is on its way to the scene.
