On Saturday at noon, paramedics will honor the memory of rescuer Piotr Miernecki. A man died on Wednesday in an ambulance accident that occurred in JedliĆsk near Radom.
On Saturday, rescuers will pay tribute to their tragically deceased colleague Piotr Miernecki with a minute of silence and the signals of emergency vehicles. “This Saturday, November 16, at 12:00 sharp throughout Poland, we will honor the tragically deceased late Piotr with a minute of silence and the signals of emergency vehicles,” the “PCK Kielce Rescue Group” wrote on the profile.
Death of a rescuer in an ambulance accident
Piotr Miernecki died in an ambulance accident that occurred in JedliĆsk near Radom.
According to the officers' findings, an ambulance driver coming from the direction of Radom (without a patient on board) collided with the driver of a Peugeot passenger car, which was heading from the opposite direction and was turning left. As a result of the impact, the ambulance rolled over.
Piotr Miernecki was an employee of the Emergency Service in BiaĆobrzegi and deputy head of the Polish Red Cross Rescue Group in Kielce, which consists of volunteers. He was also a nurse and instructor.
