Truck drivers standing in line at the crossing with Ukraine in Dorohusk have to wait about 190 hours. The number of vehicles in the queue is approximately 1.1 thousand – according to police data. The reason for the difficulties is the carriers’ protest, which started last week at the crossings in Dorohusk and Hrebenne.

Junior asp. Małgorzata Pawłowska from the Police Headquarters in Tomaszów Lubelski told PAP that about 500 trucks are waiting to cross the border through the Hrebenne crossing, the waiting time is 125 hours, the queue is 26 km long and reaches Dąbrowa Tomaszowska.
Police officers said that the protests were peaceful and without incident.
On national roads No. 12 and 17 before the crossings in Dorohusk and Hrebenne, the police have designated buffer zones to help regulate traffic in the towns.
