Rogers seems to be experiencing a serious outage in components of Canada this morning, affecting mobile and web connectivity. Downdetector has hundreds of reviews of points with Rogers, and issues appear to have began at round 5AM ET. One other third-party service tracker is reporting Rogers outages throughout Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal.
Whereas Rogers hasn’t acknowledged the issues but, Toronto police tweeted that some folks within the metropolis have been experiencing connection points calling 911 this morning. “The Rogers Community is experiencing some technical difficulties,” says the Toronto Police Operations Twitter account. “We’re working to resolve these points.”

It’s not instantly clear if the Rogers points are nationwide, however with giant areas of Canada affected, there’s clearly a serious ongoing outage. We’ve reached out to Rogers to touch upon the outage, and we’ll replace you accordingly.
