The ground suddenly collapsed onto a sidewalk in the Malaysian capital. The 48-year-old woman who fell inside remains missing.
On Friday, a sidewalk collapsed on a street in downtown Kuala Lumpur. A woman walking there fell into an eight-meter-deep hole, while other passersby managed to escape to safety in time.
The 48-year-old is a tourist from India, police said. Fire brigade rescue teams were still searching for her on Saturday. The cause of the sinkhole is being investigated.
