A1, Pikutkowo. The car hit a police car that came to a collision

A passenger car hit barriers on the A1 motorway in Pikutków (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship). Policemen appeared on the spot. During the intervention of the services there was another collision – the driver hit the police car, who drove too fast.

The incident occurred on Monday (May 26) around 6pm on the A1 motorway in Pikutków near Włocławek, on the road towards Łódź.

First, the driver of the passenger car slipped and hit the barriers separating the road lanes. During their intervention there was another collision.

– a 39-year-old Toyota driver driving towards Łódź, as a result of the speed of speed to movement conditions, hit the barriers. The man was fined. On the other hand, the driver of the Peugeot car, also as a result of the speed of speed to road conditions, hit Toyota standing at the barriers on the side of the road. He bounced off the vehicle and hit the police car, which the officers had previously arrived, performing activities from the first event – said Renata Wróblewska -Czaplicka from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Włocławek. And she added that the second driver, the 60-year-old, also got a ticket.

Nobody happened to anyone.

All participants of the event were sober.

The route towards Łódź was blocked for several hours. The police designated a detour through Włocławek.
