Inspectors from the Provincial Road Transport Inspectorate in Poznań stopped a tanker truck driving along the A2 motorway for inspection. As it turned out, the semi-trailer of the vehicle – which was going from Germany to Poland – was missing one wheel. The inspectors confiscated the registration document and prohibited further driving.
The incident took place on Friday (January 13) on the A2 motorway in Nagradowice. Inspectors from the Provincial Road Transport Inspectorate in Poznań stopped the tanker for inspection.

The vehicle – according to the WITD in Poznań – was driven by two citizens Ukrainewho performed international road transport of goods from German to Poland. “During the inspection of the technical condition of the semi-trailer, it was found that the vehicle was moving on a public road without the entire wheel with a tire mounted on the first axle, on the left side of the semi-trailer. The wheel bearing and the suspension of the chassis were damaged” – says the WITD in Poznań on its website.
The inspectors seized the registration document from the semi-trailer and forbade the men to continue driving. The carrier will face a penalty of PLN 2,000 in administrative proceedings, and the person managing the transport – PLN 500. The truck driver received a fine of PLN 100.
