A 56-year-old man has died, a police car was involved in the incident. The accident occurred in Parczew (Lublin Voivodeship). The prosecutor's office explains the circumstances.
We received information about a pedestrian being hit Contact24. The incident took place last Thursday.
The pedestrian died in hospital
According to the Internet user, the policemen were supposed to have left the scene. We contacted the police about this matter.
– I absolutely deny the information that the police hit a person and fled the scene. The incident involving a police car and a pedestrian occurred late on Thursday evening in Parczew. A team of paramedics was immediately called to the 56-year-old man and transported the man to the hospital by ambulance. Unfortunately, the man died in a medical facility – said Staff Sergeant Ewelina Semeniuk, press officer of the KPP in Parczew.
The policewoman added that the investigation into this case is being conducted by the District Prosecutor's Office in Parczew.
