The government spokesman informed that, according to his knowledge, as of yesterday, the president had not yet submitted a formal application to the Constitutional Tribunal regarding the law on courts. – It seems that he washes his hands, he does not want anything to do with this case, he knows that there is a conflict in the Tribunal – commented Grzegorz Schetyna, PO MP, in “Fakty po Faktach”.

Government spokesman Piotr Mueller at Thursday’s briefing was asked when Constitutional Court will deal with the Act on the Supreme Court and other courts, directed by the President.

– I do not know, it is the competence of the Constitutional Tribunal, therefore it is the Tribunal that sets the deadlines. As far as I know, as of yesterday, there was no formal request from Mr. President. Maybe it was submitted today, I don’t know, but the president has certain days to submit such an application and since then formal proceedings have been initiated, he replied.

Announcing the decision to refer the bill to the Tribunal, the President appealed: – I appeal to the judges of the Constitutional Tribunal to immediately deal with this important act and work on it, with a sense of responsibility for the legal and economic security of Polish women and men.

Schetyna: PiS let go of European money
