Adam Bodnar in PE. Jacek Decoration interrupted the minister's conference. Krzysztof Brejza: Ziobra's wife directed the action

The Legal Affairs Committee (LIBE) in the European Parliament listened to the Minister of the Interior in Brussels Tomasz Siemoniakand then the Minister of Justice and the Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar. Both presented the priorities of the Polish presidency in the European Union Council in this half -year.

Then representatives of each political group presented their position and asked questions. On behalf of European conservatives and reformers (EKR), Jacek Ozdoba took the floor. After two sentences, the chairman of LIBE Javier Zarzalejos (European People's Party) turned off the decoration of the microphone.

– A person who breaks the rule of law cannot speak of the definition of the rule of law – said the politician PIS. – Let us remind you that you are a person suspected of a coup d'état in Poland. From Article 127 (Penal Code – ed.) You have been in danger of imprisonment for 10 years – he added.

“I am sorry, this kind of accusations cannot be thrown on this committee,” Zarzełojos answered him. “It's my time, not you,” said the decoration. In response, the chairman threatened to ask him to leave the room. When the decoration interrupted the speech of the next speaker, he told him: – I am asking for silence. He announced that he would report the case to the chairwoman of the European Parliament.

Bodnar did not refer to the comments of the decorations at the committee meeting.

When the Minister of Justice later gave the media in the corridor in the EP, the decoration interrupted him, explaining his intervention by “the minister did not answer the questions.” Bodnar replied that he was pleased to see him, shook his hand and walked away.

The decoration continued to say: – He runs away because he breaks the law and made a coup. – It is a pity that the Prosecutor General is afraid of MEPs. He is afraid because there was a strength to take on TVP, invading the National Court Register. He is afraid because they do not make the decision of the Supreme Court – he argued.

MEP Krzysztof Brejza later informed on the website X that it was a wife Zbigniew ZiobraPatrycja Kotecka, “today directed the action of breaking the press conference of the minister” Adam Bodnar. “The performer of this miserable performance was J. Ozdoba. Kotecka's action ended in defeat,” wrote Brejza. He added that Ziobra's wife “in desperation tried to hide his conversation” with MEP Dariusz Iński.

Brejza also published a recording of the MEPs meeting with Kotecka. As he described: “I asked politely why, like her husband Pegasus, she now recorded us. Instead of staring at me strangely.”

Kotecka-Ziobro appears on the website of the European Parliament as an assistant to Patryk Jaki, Jacek Decorations and Daniel Obajtek.

In 2023 Ziobra's wife resigned from the function of a member of the Link4 board, which is part of the PZU group, whose shareholder is the State Treasury. She started her career as a journalist.

The president of the Constitutional Tribunal Bogdan Święczkowski informed on Wednesday that the deputy prosecutor general prosecutor Michał Ostrowski, after his notification, initiated an investigation into the suspicion of the assassination of state by, among others premiere Donald TuskMarshals of the Sejm and Senate, head of the Government Legislation Center and some judges and prosecutors. According to Święczkowski, Bodnar may also be a suspicious.

Ostrowski has been the deputy prosecutor general since November 2023. He was appointed by the then prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
