Adam Bronikowski is dead. The journalist and former spokesperson of Barbara Blida was 86 years old

Adam Bronikowski, journalist, long-term economic commentator and TV presenter, in the years 1993-1996 spokesman for the Minister of Construction, Barbara Blida, has died. He was 86 years old.

His son, Marcin Bronikowski, informed about the death of Adam Bronikowski. “Today, March 21, 2023 at 5:00 am, on the first day of spring, at the age of 86, passed away my beloved Dad, an outstanding television journalist, erudite and friend, editor ADAM BRONIKOWSKI. I have no words to describe the pain of my heart” – he wrote on social media on Wednesday.

For over 30 years, starting from the 1970s, Adam Bronikowski was an economic commentator for Telewizja Polska and one of the presenters of “Dziennik Telewizyjny”. As the son of the deceased informed, he also created many original journalistic programs, including Kram, Tygodnik Gospodarczy NOW, or Rozmowa na telefon, which was the first Polish economic talk show.

Adam Bronikowski was also the author of a series of travel reports from Asia as well as economic and culinary articles for magazines such as “VIP”, “Dyplomacja”, “Przegląd Gospodarczy”, “Przegląd Techniczny”. In the years 1993-1996 he was the press spokesman of the Ministry of Construction headed by Barbara Blida.

The funeral ceremony of the journalist will take place on Monday, March 27 at 1:00 p.m. in the Church of Creative Environments at Plac Teatralny 18 in Warsaw. “He was one of the most famous economic journalists (…) A gentleman, erudite, always cordial and smiling,” reads the entry published by his son.
