The September training camps of the national team are approaching with great strides, and coach Michał Probierz can smile after Saturday afternoon. The reason for satisfaction is the form of the Polish national team strikers. Robert Lewandowski scored and gave the victory to FC Barcelonaand Adam Buksa is finding his place in his new club and has scored a goal again.
Adam Buksa scores again. Great start after transfer to FC Midtjylland
Buksa spent the last year on loan to Antalyaspor, and then went with the Polish national team to Euro 2024. He scored a goal in the match against the Netherlands, and after the tournament he did not return to RC Lens, but moved to FC Midtjylland. The rather surprising direction of the transfer turns out to be really good for the striker, because he has already scored for the third time.
In his eighth match for his new club, Buksa equalized the score against Sonderjyske. The Polish international received a very good pass into the penalty area in the 15th minute of the game, where he broke away from the defenders and with a powerful shot with his left foot, put the ball into the net. The shot was so powerful that it gave the goalkeeper no chance.

Before the break Sonderjyske took the lead 2:1, but after the break the players of Midtjylland reversed the result of the match. First in the 56th minute Edward Chilufya scored for 2:2, and 20 minutes later Adam Gabriel gave the hosts a 3:2 victory. Buksa did not contribute much to these two goals, and in the 83rd minute of the game he left the pitch.
The 28-year-old has already scored three goals in three league matches in the 2024/25 season. On Wednesday, August 28, he and his teammates will fight for promotion to the Champions League league phase, where they will face Slovan Bratislava in the second match of the fourth round of qualifying. The result after the first match is 1:1.
If Buksa maintains his form, he may be almost certain of another call-up to the Polish national team. So far, only Robert Lewandowski has performed better than him at a high level, so he may even become a first-team player for September's matches against Scotland and Croatia.
