Stanisława Celińska never hid the fact that she struggled with alcoholism.

36 years ago Stanisława Celińska decided to quit her addiction and has been sober ever since. The actress was 41 when she decided to quit her addiction. In the program “Demakijaż” by Krzysztof Ibisz she admitted that it was only after quitting her addiction that she was able to fully appreciate life. – I regained control over my life thanks to divine help. But I didn't give myself any reward for it. A person who starts drinking or becomes addicted to something, that's all he has, and the whole world doesn't matter anymore. And when he weans, he has the whole world. Now I have the whole world at my disposal: walks, kidsdogs, good food… – she confessed.

The actress, due to alcoholism and recovery from addiction, felt that she had neglected her family. – In connection with this, I was not as efficient, because I was busy recovering. Maybe the children felt neglected… Although it was not like that either, because I was always with them. And I stayed with them, even though I separated from my husband. I took on all the parental baggage and I am very happy. Thanks to that I got out of it all. I took care of the children and they still need me very much. You can fall, but you have to get up and live on – she confessed in the program “Taka jak ty”. Celińska admitted that it was her kids urge her to forget the painful past.

The children have forgiven me and they keep asking me to stop going back to it. They say: Mom, it was so long ago. These words help me a lot
