The time it takes to get sufferers from accident and emergency to a ward mattress – a key indicator of hospital stress – is at its longest ever, based on newest information from NHS England.
In October, greater than 30% of individuals admitted to hospital from A&E needed to wait greater than 4 hours for a mattress after the choice was made to confess them.
It comes as a rise from 27% the month earlier than and from 18% in October 2019.
In the meantime, the share of individuals being seen in A&E in lower than 4 hours is at an all-time low – right down to 74% total.
The share has dropped from 75% in September and 84% in October 2019.
