August 19th started Top of the Top Sopot Festival. The event has aroused considerable controversy from the very first day. First, Internet users criticized the sound system. “What a hopeless sound production?”, “Will you somehow improve the sound system? Because on TV you can barely hear a thing” – they wrote. Now it was about another thing. Jan Pirowski, who hosted the second day of the festival alongside Agnieszka Woźniak-Starak. On the second day on stage in Sopot we saw Jan Pirowski and Agnieszka Woźniak-Starak. Presenters got into a discussion about the 90s. The journalist reminded her colleague that he was very young at the time. She did not wait long for a reaction. – I must have been born because I remember seeing you on TV then! – he joked. The journalist's words caused a media storm and were criticized by Internet users. Agnieszka Woźniak-Starak decided to rectify the situation and revealed that she was not offended by Jan Pirowski's joke. As it turns out, it was part of the script. – It was our established joke. The audience didn't boo at all. Mateusz Hładki ruined the joke a bit, but apart from that, everything was established. Janek and I are totally different. There's a 12-year age difference between us. We like to joke about it – she told Plejada.

During the second day of the festival, we met the winner of the Amber Nightingale. It was Oskar Cyms, author of the hits “Cały czas” and “Na niebo”. The young vocalist did not hide his surprise at this decision and grabbed his head after the results were announced. – I don't know how it happened, but it is – the nightingale has flown in and I hope it will never fly away again – Oskar Cyms told Pleiades.
