Donald Tusk he's had his hands full lately. All because of the flood and its effects. Let us also remind you that a state of natural disaster has been introduced in some of the Lower Silesian, Opole and Silesian voivodeships. On September 29, it was announced that this also covers parts of the Lubuskie Voivodeship (the state of natural disaster lasts 30 days and during this time citizens may receive an evacuation order or a ban on staying in specific places. The authorities may also limit the freedom of movement of the population). Tusk also started a war with beavers. But now he found some time to rest. He showed off on social media how he was spending his Sunday. It's idyllic.
Donald Tusk with his grandchildren
On September 29, Donald Tusk published a photo on Facebook and Instagram in which: shows how he spends his Sunday morning. The Prime Minister did not pose for a photo alone. He was accompanied by a circle of grandchildrenwho – if the Prime Minister's words are to be believed – came to their grandfather for a geography lesson.
Neither computer games nor cartoons on TV even compare to the “grandpa plus atlas” set. Pure joy (even if the grandchildren decided to start Sunday before seven in the morning)
– wrote the politician.
Both on Facebook and Instagram, thousands of reactions and hundreds of comments appeared under the politician's photo. The vast majority of commenters did not hide their delight. “A great grandfather! Time spent with his family is the most valuable time!”, “A great prime minister, a great father and a great grandfather”, “And that is priceless”, “An effective politician and a cool man. People used to say 'let's dance and pray the rosary' .There are few people like that”, “A true statesman, a wise, effective, and at the same time warm and beloved grandfather” – we read.
Donald Tusk improves his image after the beaver scandal?
Donald Tusk recently announced the fight against beavers. He claimed that these were intended to destroy flood embankments. The problem is that groups of these animals do not occur in large numbers in areas affected by the flood. Experts also drew attention to the absurdity of the Prime Minister's statements. “The Prime Minister's claims about attributing a role to beavers in floods during such heavy rainfall are pyramidal nonsense made up on the spot” – said Dr. Andrzej Czech, doctor of biological sciences and beaver researcher, in an interview with Gazeta.pl. After a few days, Tusk stated that he would not fight the beavers. – I also decided, in consultation with Minister Klimczak, that all embankments that will be rebuilt or built anew will be secured with appropriate installations, nets, and the structures will be different so that beavers cannot damage the embankments. Then there will be no need to neutralize beavers, he said. He tried to defuse the whole situation with a “joke”. – In short, it will be fine, Mr. Beaver. There will be no reason to raise the alarm – we could hear. It is therefore difficult to resist the impression that the politician's latest photo, in which he is seen surrounded by his grandchildren, is an attempt to warm up his image. It also looks like it was a success.
