According to report PIE every fifth employee in Poland currently performs a profession most exposed to the influence of artificial intelligence. In total, there are as many as 3.68 million Poles – 2.16 million of whom are women and 1.53 million men. “Artificial intelligence has the potential for significant transformation Polish labor market – it simplifies or eliminates some tasks, increases the productivity of some employees, and increases the pressure to acquire new ones skills,” Ignacy ÅšwiÄ™cicki, head of the digital economy team, emphasized in the report.
The professions most exposed to the influence of artificial intelligence have been distinguished. “Jobs that require higher qualifications”
PIE reports that “particularly those jobs that require higher qualifications” are most exposed to the effects of artificial intelligence. In total, as many as 20 groups of professions were distinguished, including: financiers, lawyers, programmers, mathematicians, some government officials, secretaries, teachers academics and representatives of management staff in enterprises.
Considering the numbers quoted above, working women are more exposed to AI than men. Artificial intelligence is also expected to have the greatest impact on those employed in voivodeships – Masovian VoivodeshipLesser Poland and Pomeranian Voivodeships. In the province itself Masovian Voivodeship as much as 31 percent employees are among those most at risk from the impact of AI.
But who is not threatened by AI? These industries can be quiet
Researchers found that the financial and insurance sectors have the highest exposure to AI. Importantly, we also learned which industries are least threatened by artificial intelligence.
“The agriculture, forestry, hunting and fishing sector has the lowest exposure to AI, which suggests that it is the least affected by the development of these technologies. A similarly low level of exposure can be seen in the catering and accommodation activities as well as in construction,” the report noted.
