After a year's break, Marek Papszun returned to Raków Częstochowa. The coach who gave the club a historic Polish championship was supposed to rebuild the team after an average season under Dawid Szwarga. He did, but so far he's doing average at best.
After seven rounds, Raków has 11 points and is in seventh place in the table Premier League. But that's not the biggest problem with Papszun's team. They've only scored five goals this season, and their style is unacceptable.
In short: Raków is unwatchable. After two draws in a row last week, Częstochowa won at the last minute. Lechia Gdansk (2:1). Raków won three points, despite being down 0:1 until the 87th minute.
However, this was not a turning point for Raków. On Friday, Papszun's team lost at home to Piast Gliwice (0:1), suffering their second home defeat of the season. On July 29, in Częstochowa, Cracovia won by the same score.
