Dear sachet water company, what you are doing is pure evil, wrote Szymon Hołownia, Speaker of the Sejm, on social media on Monday. In this way, he referred to the issue of alcohol sold in tubes associated with children's products.

“Every parent knows what fruit puree looks like. Everyone knows how useful it is when you have to go on a long journey or when a sudden, small hunger drives your child to (temporary) despair. We buy them almost blindly, looking for characteristic packaging in the store” – he wrote on Monday on his Instagram profile Szymon Hołownia.

“Dear sachet vodka company, what you are doing is pure EVIL (original spelling – ed.),” he said. He added that it was “playing with conventions” and “the courage to experiment” at the expense of children's lives.

“I sincerely hope that karma will come back to you and your greed will punish itself. That responsible producers of children's snacks will protest. And that the consumer boycott will show you that it is not worth messing with parents. And I will not give up on this matter as an MP either. Shame on you. “Shame. SHAME (original spelling – ed.),” he added.

Alcohol in tubes like fizz

Recently, alcohol sold in tubes, previously associated with children's mousses, has appeared in stores. Photos of colorful packaging were published on social media.

In some posts, tubes of alcohol were visible on shelves with the Tymbark logo. The Marshal of the Sejm wrote in a post about “one of the producers of these healthy mousses”. “The Tymbark brand and the Maspex Group have nothing to do with this product,” explained Dorota Liszka, Maspex spokeswoman, on social media.

The business editorial team of tvn24.pl asked for a comment on the method of selling alcoholic products from the Ministry of Health and the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. By the time of publication of the material, we had not received a response from these institutions.
