Alex Morgan is not an everyday mother—she’s a soccer mother.

And now, the two-time Olympic medalist is the highest-scoring mom in U.S. Women’s National Team history, in response to the group. Alex, 33, nabbed the spectacular title on Feb. 22 on the SheBelieves Cup championship sport towards Brazil, throughout which she scored her 14th aim for the USWNT since welcoming daughter Charlie in 2020.

Alex’s 2-year-old, who she shares with husband Servando Carrasco, was readily available to witness the historic second. As seen in a photograph taken after the USWNT received the sport in a 2-1 victory, Alex—sporting the SheBelieves Cup medal round her neck—celebrated together with her daughter by kicking a soccer ball round on the empty pitch.

Previous to Alex, 1999 World Cup crew member Pleasure Fawcette held the file of highest-scoring mom with 13 targets, per Fox Sports. Different mothers who’ve scored for the crew embrace Danielle Fotopoulos, Amy RodriguezJessica McDonaldKate Markgraf, Kristine Lilly and Tina Ellertson.
