The work of Alior Bank will be managed by the current vice-president of the management board of the bank, Maciej Brzozowski, as decided by the supervisory board of Alior Bank. Brzozowski will officially begin his new duties on Saturday, October 23. Until now, Alior Bank was headed by Iwona Duda, who went to PKO BP.

“On October 22, 2021, the Supervisory Board of the Bank adopted a resolution to entrust Maciej Brzozowski, Vice-President of the Management Board of the Bank, from October 23, 2021 until the appointment of a person appointed by the Supervisory Board of the Bank to the position of President of the Management Board” – we read in Friday’s announcement.

Maciej Brzozowski in the Management Board of Alior Bank is responsible for risk management, he supervises, inter alia, the bank’s credit policy for individual and business clients and the area of ​​debt collection and restructuring.

As we read on the bank’s website, Brzozowski has been dealing with banking risk since 1996. He started his professional career at PKO Bank Polski, then he was associated with Kredyt Bank. He also dealt with issues related to risk and stability of the financial system at the National Bank of Poland.

In mid-October, the current president of Alior Bank, Iwona Duda, resigned with effect on October 22. Duda went to PKO BP. The supervisory board appointed her to the position of vice president of the bank and entrusted her with managing the work of the management board as of October 23.
