NASK warned on Tuesday against scammers impersonating the Allegro portal. These are e-mails suggesting receiving a loyalty bonus from the website. Clicking on the link allows the fraudsters to take over the accounts and conduct further scams.
The CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) of the Scientific and Academic Computer Network (CSIRT) announced on Tuesday that it is observing an ongoing email campaign in which criminals impersonate Allegro communication. “E-mails suggesting receiving additional money from the service – a loyalty bonus are sent out en masse. Receiving a bonus is possible provided that the user takes action within 72 hours of receiving the e-mail” – NASK wrote.

The network added that the message contained a link redirecting to a page used to phishing login details for the Allegro portal.
“They are then used by criminals to take over accounts and carry out further scams” – it was indicated.
