NASK warns against scammers who continue to impersonate the Allegro platform and phishing data to the portal. Mass mailings suggest receiving additional money from the service.

Naukowa i Akademicka Sieć Komputerowa informed that the CERT Polska (Computer Emergency Response Team), i.e. a team that responds to computer security incidents, continues to record a campaign impersonating Allegro.

NASK explained that mass e-mails suggested receiving additional money from the service. According to the message, the bonus is only available if the user takes action within 72 hours of receiving the email.

Specialists explained that the message contains a link redirecting to a fake page, which criminals use to obtain login details for the Allegro portal.

Another warning

This is another scam warning that has been appearing recently.

A few months ago we reported that scammers were impersonating mBank and Allegro. In both cases, the cybercriminals sent messages with a fake link to the login pages of the services. Experts warned that these were attempts to phishing for personal data.
