Alcohol sales on the Allegro have started

Offers are posted by verified sellers And they are displayed for buyers in the alcohol category in the Allegro.pl domain. “Access to this assortment is only possible for adult users and additionally only after logging in. Access to the category is of course also blocked for junior accounts. To see the category range, in addition to logging in, it is also required to confirm age and accept the terms of the regulations. In addition, after a few minutes of lack of activity in the category, the offer of alcohols is covered, and the customer will see a re -confirming request to confirm the age” Allegro press. We would like to remind you: the platform announced in September 2024 the sale of alcoholic beverages in the form of a pilot, but in mid -October she reported that she decided to stop sales.
Allegro sells alcohol on special terms
According to the Allegro regulations, separate rules apply for purchases in the alcohol category. Order reception is only possible a special courier methodimplemented by DPD. The courier is obliged verify sobriety, age and identity recipient of the parcel and check special PIN codewhich the recipient will receive from the carrier. The courier will also check the identity of the recipientbut only on the basis of physical document (ID card, driving license or passport). The parcel cannot be delivered or redirected to parcel machines and pickup points.
Allegro financial results
In the first quarter of 2025, revenues from activity in Poland increased to PLN 2.4 billion (+15 percent year on year). The corrected EBITDA profit was PLN 859.4 million (+4.8 percent). In turn, the number of active buyers on the Allegro in Poland has exceeded 15.1 million.
