City guards in Poznań intervened in the case of the snake. A trained eco patrol went to the site. It quickly turned out that this particular “specimen” could not harm anyone.
In Poznań, concerned residents of allotment gardens above Malta they asked for help Municipal Police. The cause of concern was a “large snake” that was supposed to be on one of the properties.
– Indeed, the report showed that it was a large individual and spread fear among gardeners. Our guards are trained for various eventualities, including catching snakes. Immediately after receiving the report, they rushed to the spot – says Anna Nowaczyk from the City Guard in Poznań.

He couldn't hurt anyone
The reptile was supposed to be on a property whose owner was not present, so the guards asked the president of the allotment gardens for assistance. – Actually, immediately after arrival it turned out to be a false alarm. It turned out that it was not a real snake but a rubber toy. In order not to disturb anyone, it was moved to another, less exposed place – adds Nowaczyk.
As the guard says, the eco patrol members were not particularly surprised by this turn of events. – Once we were called to a bag that was moving in the bushes. Someone was afraid that there was an animal trapped inside, but there was only garbage there. Such false alarms do happen. This does not change the fact that responding is very important and we are glad that residents are trying to help. Before reporting, it is worth assessing the situation rationally, adds Nowaczyk.
