Virtually 2.000 individuals have died after earthquakes in Afghanistan on Saturday, in line with the Taliban.

The determine is a big leap from yesterday when the UN gave a preliminary determine of 320.

Two 6.3-magnitude quakes hit the west of the country, in line with the US Geological Survey.

The epicentre was about 25 miles northwest of town of Herat and was adopted by a 5.5-magnitude aftershock, the USGS reported.
