The prosecutor’s office issued an arrest warrant for 18-year-old Konrad Kopaniarz, whom it considers the perpetrator of a fatal accident in the village of Trynosy Osiedle (Ostrów County). In September, the boy ran his motorcycle into two peers sitting on the bench. One died and the other was hospitalized in serious condition.
At the end of September, the District Prosecutor’s Office in Ostrów Mazowiecka issued an arrest warrant for the 18-year-old Konrad Kopaniarz. The announcement on the website of the prosecutor’s office shows that he is wanted in connection with an accident which resulted in the death of a person or a serious damage to his health. The wanted man is 18 years old and his last place of residence was Rząśnik-Majdan (Wąsewo commune in Ostrów County).
As we were confirmed by sub-commissioner Aleksandra Calik from the Mazovian Provincial Police Headquarters, The 18-year-old is the perpetrator of a fatal accident, which occurred on July 17, 2021 on a local road in Trynosy Osiedle in the Wąsewo commune. The boy was riding a motorcycle with his friend.
The police then reported that “the driver of the motorcycle, probably on the bend of the road, for unknown reasons, pulled down and hit two 17-year-old girls – residents of the Ostrów poviat”. One of them died on the spot, the other was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
As Polsat News reported, the boy did not have the license to drive a motorcycle. He was arrested and placed in police custody. The prosecutor’s office requested the court for three months’ arrest, but the court did not agree. Police surveillance and a ban on leaving the country were applied to the suspect. According to Polsat News, the teenager was quickly released from detention after his parents paid a deposit of PLN 15,000.
