It has always been like that, it has been like that and it will probably continue to be like that – said President Andrzej Duda in an interview with “Fakty” TVN correspondent Marcin Wrona. In the context of this year’s election campaign, he assured that we have media pluralism in Poland.
President Andrzej Dudawho lives in New York, was asked in an interview with the correspondent of “Fakty” TVN w USA Marcin Wrona about the quality of the ongoing proceedings elections parliamentary election campaigns.
– In 2015, I was a candidate for president and I was attacked by all major media, because Telewizja Polska was entirely in the hands of the then ruling camp, i.e. PO-PSL. At that time, your television clearly supported my competitor, Duda said.

To the comment that the question was about this year’s campaign, the president replied that “you are helping the opposition so much and other media, radios and websites are helping the opposition so much that there is really no harm done.” – Fortunately, we have media pluralism – he said.

In the context of this year’s election campaign, the president was asked about the involvement of State Treasury companies in the referendum campaign. – Mr. Editor, you know perfectly well that the authorities always use the potential they have at their disposal to help each other. It has always been so, it has been so and it will probably continue to be so, because these are simply the laws of life – he said.
– This was also the case when I ran my campaigns as a representative of the opposition in Poland, and I was in the opposition from 2007 to 2015. I survived eight long years very calmly, doing my job, consistently, to the best of my abilities, convincing my compatriots to vote for me, to change the government in Poland. I did it in various, very difficult circumstances, he added.
