An arrest warrant has been issued in Venezuela for Los Angeles Angels infielder Luis Rengifo for allegedly falsifying paperwork, in line with a number of reviews. 

Rengifo, 24, is accused of forging divorce papers in his native nation in July 2018 that had been then legalized in December 2020, The Orange County Register reported, citing a number of native reviews.

In keeping with the report, Rengifo’s sister, father and lawyer had been detained on Saturday and an arrest warrant has been issued for Rengifo. 

Rengifo was recalled from the Angel’s Triple-A affiliate on Sept. 1. On Saturday, he led the group to 4-2 victory over the Houston Astros after he homered with three RBIs.
